Responsive web design

Phones, tablets, laptops, desktops — with an abundance of different devices that people use to browse the web it’s obvious how important is to make sure any website looks and works good anywhere!

In this workshop we will learn about what makes a website responsive and how to achieve this through code. You’ll get your ‘hands dirty’ with coding and test your site on various devices . You’ll learn how to use media queries to ‘break’ and ‘fix’ your grid based design, how to make images fluid and sharp and why there is a ‘hamburger’ icon flying in the right corner of every site. By the end of the workshop you’ll have mobile-friendly (according to Google) site coded from scratch.
